Introduction: The Search
To know and understand the origin and functioning of existence has always been one of the objectives of science, of humanity, and, profoundly, my own. To share my thoughts, ideas, or opinions on this matter, as well as the experiences, observations, and results that led me to them, is the purpose of this publication. That it may serve someone or something is its aim and also my desire; being mistaken is my sole concern.
Mainly, I remember the search: a great curiosity and restlessness that were a source of energy and inspiration, as well as an immense inertia that, at first, lacked brake or direction. Full of contradictions, more questions than answers saturated my mind, which did not stop thinking, trying to orient itself and find a meaning to life and existence.
These questions were not only the true engine of the intellect, but the first exercise of my freedom. They generated the imbalance that propelled and nourished the search for the answer. Once a certainty was found, it generated in turn a new imbalance with new questions, in a continuous succession towards that knowledge which permits true “personal equilibrium”: wisdom. A wisdom that is not static, but a dynamic equilibrium; the understanding, freedom, and peace for every mind that, although fighting its own inner war, dwells in a known, controlled, and compensated imbalance.
At the beginning of this journey, it was analogy and deduction that guided my mind, trying to fit together the pieces of a puzzle I did not yet understand. But once Freedom revealed itself to me as the axis of everything, the process inverted: it was induction and, above all, intuition that took the reins, allowing the truth to flow without the brake of rigid logic.
The general law I yearned to find is the one that makes possible, generates, and manages all of existence; I was searching for a true “Theory of Everything”. I had a profound need to find the key that would allow connecting material thought with the spiritual, the real with the imaginary, ensuring that all the notes of the universe, from physics to emotion and the soul, vibrated in the same tuning.
This law had to encompass both the rigorous scientific and technical mechanisms and the complex labyrinths of society, people, and values. I wanted to be able to pass from the world of the laboratory to the everyday or spiritual world with continuity, without changing the method or the logic, and without resorting to dogmas or acts of faith. If such a law were true, it would have to govern all planes of reality with the same solvency, allowing us to understand the ‘why’ of all things and to enjoy the material part of life without corrupting or decoupling our immaterial essence. That universality would be the absolute demonstration of its truth.
Background and History
Even at the beginnings of my adventure, I understood that, to find the answer, I would have to go to the limit, to the beginning of everything, to creation; to reach before mathematics and physics, up to “The Supreme Entity”. I did so assuming the risk and the effort that this implied, but without knowing exactly what form it would take.
I did not know the form and condition that a solution of this kind would possess. Perhaps it was not a formula in the classical sense; it could be a verb, a fact, a key, or an entity.
This law, formula, or entity would be the very same that would trigger and shape existence, simultaneously allowing us its knowledge. Being the cause of everything, it could not have a prior mathematical demonstration or expression, for it exists before them, in the singularity. On the contrary: all disciplines of science, mathematics, physics, and also ideas would be the fruit of this phenomenon. The ultimate goal was not to accumulate knowledge, but to find the general rule to understand it; the master pattern or strategy of comprehension. And, unlike scientific answers that mark the end of a story, the one I yearned for was a leap towards freedom: a creative solution of all the possibilities of life. To attain it would mean striking upon the very heartbeat of creation and its most profound meaning.
universe in equilibrium. On the contrary, it would have to couple with an existence in constant evolution, the fruit of a necessary original imbalance. An asymmetry or “dissymmetry” that affects the entire universe and acts as the engine of existence. This is the same imbalance that I would later find in thermodynamics, in Metastability—that precarious yet fertile equilibrium that conditions us—in fractal mathematics, in prime numbers, in irrationals, in nature, and also in love.
I was searching, ultimately, for that which allows the light of truth to pass through us without distortion or resistance. A property I intuited as fundamental and which I would soon discover under one name: Transparency.
Author’s Note on the Language of the Fractal
Throughout this journey, the reader will encounter words such as Justice and Love. It is important to clarify that, in this model, they are not merely moral concepts, but the names that our consciousness gives or can give to real physical laws. We will discover that Justice is total equity in the original permission (Isotropy), and that Love is perfect union without resistance (Phase Coherence). These are the laws that safeguard the original Transparency, allowing life, quite simply, to happen.
